​A guide to valuing time spent and saved during the pandemic

In an opinion piece, Professor Euston Quah, who is Albert Winsemius chair professor of economics, director of the Economic Growth Centre at NTU and the president of the Economic Society of Singapore discussed the value of time. Valuing time is often used in transport studies to gauge how much commuters value congestion-free travel, he said. It can be extended to studying the economic impact of Covid-19 as people spend more time working from home and on household work.
