SSS officially launches School of Social Sciences Alumni Association

Published on: 24-Nov-2018

The School of Social Sciences officially launched the School of Social Sciences Alumni Association (SSSAA) on 24 November 2018.

The event was attended by some members of faculty and alumni across the four programmes—Economics, Psychology, Public Policy and Global Affairs, and Sociology. It was held at the NTU Alumni House located at Marina Square. Guests-of-honour of the SSSAA Launch were Professor Alan Chan, NTU Vice President of Alumni and Advancement; and Professor Joseph Liow, the new Dean of College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.

There was plenty of merry-making as our alumni caught up with one another as well as with their professors over a lovely high tea spread. Guests also enjoyed ice cream rollies made fresh on the spot, and taking fun photos at the photo booth. The main highlight of the event was a book auction of some of our professors' favourite books—proceeds of which went to the SSS Advancement Fund.

Thank you to all who came down to celebrate this occasion with us!
