Prof Euston Quah’s book, Singapore 2065, was published in 2015 to celebrate Singapore’s first 50 years as an independent nation. It was launched by Singapore’s then Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and was attended by 200 people.
A second reprint of the publication with a new book cover was done in 2018. The original 2015 edition of the book was selected by the Singapore government to be buried at Gardens by the Bay together with 50 other items to be unearthed in 2065 when Singapore reaches its centennial year. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong broke and officiated the site where the items are buried.
